I really like how the ceramic coating that I applied in April has turned out for the Race Red paint on me Mustang . I use just a spray bottle filled with water and a few drops of baby shampoo to spritz it down after a rainy day . No shadows to be seen .. the shine is the shiniest mirror I have ever experienced with all of the POS cars I have ever had in me 50 some yrs of ever being able to own a vehicle .

I have a 2017 Mustang GT Premium.
Over the months I have been researching an exhaust that isn't too loud, but has some 'grunt' to it when you put your foot down. At the same time, at 05:30 in the morning, I don't particularly want it to wake all the bloody neighbours.

Anyway, what does everyone think of these?

Exhaust:

Cold Air intake: (I believe no tune is needed)

Thanks

I went thru a severe case of "analysis paralysis" trying to make up my mind on which exhaust to get, there are lots of options at all price points. Watched lots of YT's vids and researched threads here. In the end I went with with a Corsa Sport catback. My favorite mod by far, it makes the car sound like it means business. Love the tone it produces and it definitely has grunt when you put your foot into it. Keep the RPM's under 2800 and it's quiet. During winter cold starts are loud but the car is garaged which helps. I've never had any neighbor complaints or run ins with the local LEO's. I did have cop pull up next to me at stop light and he motioned me to roll down my window. He asked what exhaust I was running because it sounded bad ass. Ha! Never expected that.

The Krona and AWE touring were two others that were on my short list.

From what I've read about CAI's for this car is that unless you plan on getting an aftermarket tune there isn't much benefit. I replaced the stock air filter with this AFE filter.

I've got my eye on the Bigmouths, they look good plus are functional. I want to replace the grill - not a fan of the horse, so the plan is tackling both at the same time once I replenish my mod fund.

FYI -

I upgraded to a 2018 Mustang GT PP, with Active Exhaust.
This is now giving me what I need, plus the option of the quiet exhaust in the morning (between 05:00-07:00. At least the neighbours are happy. :)
