UPDATED MUSTANG DELIVERY TIMING ESTIMATE

Did they call you to reschedule the test drive? Mine is for the 25th. I'm curious if I will get a call or if they'll just be standing me up....or if a demo car is actually being brought around to test drive (not an actual dealer stock car). :frusty:

I called to confirm. sept 20th was the day I would check on as late as last week. Today was when I found out..... no Joy!

Why is she annoyed? Didnt she know when she ordered that the order wouldnt be here till Fall of 2014 ( Sept 22-Dec 1st) ?

F150 is actually delayed, but so far Mustang is not delayed.
Its just that a lot of people were thinking/hoping it would be here summer of 2014, while Ford has all along aimed for fall 2014 ever since the vehicle was announced Dec 4 2013.

Earlier, someone from Ford posted on their Facebook page that cars we at dealers today. It was taken down and replaced with what you're seeing now.

When I was offered a test drive they told me that the cars would be at dealers. The 20th.

. . . I'd say that's something of a smoking gun which shows there's apparently even some confusion inside of FoMoCo or at the very least some miscommunication between departments. If they're not even sure inside the company than it's gonna be hard to outwardly project a cohesive or accurate picture.

Perhaps Ford is just clumsily trying to get the release lined up w/ the release of the press embargo tomorrow? Like Perhaps the gag comes off tomorrow and then cars start getting to dealerships Friday or Monday?!
