Jaime, agree with not liking the cool feeling on the butt. As far as the heat, I don't drive the car in cold weather and where I live, it never snows and rarely gets very cold. In fact it is the opposite and our summers usually hover around 100+ during the day (86 right now as I am typing this). However, when I go out for a drive, say on a Saturday morning, I like to have a little heat to start off with because being up in age, it feels good on the old bones especially my back.

I can appreciate that, as I’m getting up there in age. My job also has kicked by body’s ass. I could get behind a heating coil in the seat back, but not the ass pad.

It would appear that you and I are a tad closer in seat requests than Jaime, Mark, but we're all pretty much on the same wavelength. <smile>

I DO miss heated seats but don't have the experience to add heat. Never use cooled seats in any vehicle except after a long day in the sun.

Already have the Recaro "muscle memory" for getting in and out from six years with the other car but the habit to watch out for that bolster is NOT yet memorized. Lucky you, Mark. ;-)

Ask any woman though and they'll probably demand heated seats. <grin> Mine sure would but then, Sarah isn't her car. <bigger grin>

But after a long day washing and detailing or, like today, four plus hours mowing the dang lawn, getting a shower and going for a nice, cool drive would be that much better with seat and back heat. The wife's car has a bunch of massage modes on top of HVAC <smile> that I'd kill to have but, I digress. :-)

I hope you manage to avoid the problem. Somethings are great when they get large, some not so much.

I'm an engineer, I agree with that statement. But, as an engineer, too many rules resulting in over designing of items.
