I think we all know how this turned out but it was fun to watch. Hope everyone enjoys. The GT500 did pull some impressive G’s around the turn.

About what I'd expect. Big girl didn't do too bad lol, and it's crazy that their power to weight is pretty much dead even. Makes sense though seeing all the videos where whoever gets the hit in a roll race wins!I think we all know how this turned out but it was fun to watch. Hope everyone enjoys. The Z has advantages two which are weight and aero. But all in all after sitting inside a C8 I’m not a fan. I’d rather be comfortable in a great grand tourer like the GT500.About what I'd expect. Seems like an easy win for a CFTP in a roll though with 100 less lbs and the carbon wheels shaving unsprung weight.
Yea I'm not a fan of the C8 looks at all. C6 is my favorite. I will say I looked around in the vid and the Shelby was wearing Cup 2's and not PS4S at least. They really should have compared a Cftp with ZO6/carbon package. The 500 for sure takes a little practice to get it to launch well. They definitely have the ZO6 dialed in to be plug and play. GM did a great job with it. I’m sure I’m in the minority but I really liked the styling on the C7 better. With a few minor tweaks the C8 does look good though.
Yea it would of been, but the Shelby did have Cup 2's on it at least.Wouldn't a CFTP car be more of an appropriate comparison? But really Apples to Oranges regardless. 2 seater, 4 seater, front engine rear engine, price....
The 4S tires supposedly launch better than Cup tires. Can anybody verify?Yea I'm not a fan of the C8 looks at all. C6 is my favorite. I will say I looked around in the vid and the Shelby was wearing Cup 2's and not PS4S at least.
I agree Charlie. C7 is my favorite styling on the Vette. The ZR1 with the big wing is just chef’s kiss. My dad is currently looking at C6’s, he prefers the tails on those a little more than the C7.They really should have compared a Cftp with ZO6/carbon package. C5’s and C6’s are fairly common around here. C7’s not as much. Grand Sports are really nice, it’s the trim my dad is looking for as well. I still prefer the GT500 over all of them thoughI really wanted a gs vert, came so close to buying one. That decision or lack there of is what started me down this path with the shelbys. The c6 and c7’s are great cars. I rarely see c7’s around here but then again don’t see shelbys either really.
Almost ordered a GS coupe once, but luckily drove a Z51 example only to find out the C7 fits me strangely (tall in the torso and built like a linebacker). I like the looks of the much C7 better, but should probably at least sit in a C8 and see what's what.....I really wanted a gs vert, came so close to buying one.
