These little bastards are RIGHT in my line of sight, the windshield isn't cracked but its slightly distorted and extremely distracting. Ya think insurance will cover this? seems unsafe and its definitely annoying as shit.

they are not repairable.

Go to a glass shop and wait while they do their magic.

Pay out of pocket, they will raise your rates as it is indeed a claim. I made same that mistake last year.

I’m speaking of a repair, not replacement.

As the old glass guy on the forum those are on the drivers line of sight so yes you can get a windshield replacement for these. If u have glass cover get it done. They might push back for just a repair but tell them no that you don’t want anything in your line of sight that may cause you to either have an accident or obstruct your vision.

Edit: Even if you repair them you will still them.

THANK YOU that's exactly what i'm lookin for.

i tried the repair and polishing them out but the chips aren't deep enough for the resin to stay put yet they are large enough to constantly make my brain try to focus on them while driving.

Who’s your carrier? They can’t do that by law. You can fight that.

That’s why these are so dangerous.

Then they need a carrier that won’t do that. Most carriers won’t raise your rates for glass replacement.
that's how i understood it. apparently the people insuring your very expensive vehicle consider it smart to make sure you can see clearly while you drive it :D

Also know that you can get a Carlite Mustang Logo windshield up to two years after the car manufacturer date. So if it’s an ‘18 you can still get it done in ‘20. If it’s older than 2 yrs you might have to come out of pocket some amount. That’s standard.
