Tuning Turn Around Time

Hey everyone, was wondering what your typical turn around timeframe was from sending your base file to your tuner to getting your first tune? New to the tuning world so not sure what to expect.

Same or next day depending how early you request it. Took me 2 days for 91/ e85 start to finish with 3 revisions the first time. Then when I went boost on 91 it took 4 revisions and still 2 days. My experience is with Lund.

I think the best tuners right now are @Wengerd Performance and Lund.

Wengerd takes I would say 20min-40min. He even helped me on a sunday when I was setting up the RTD+

Lund Racing a couple of hours through their Ticket system.

During normal business hours Lund responds within minutes. It generally takes 2-5 days to get the tune finished depending what all you are tuning for.

I’ve been feeling out and sending a few emails out lately ,as Im Feeling out this remote tune thing for the first time.

man, I wish that was the case, sent 2 emails within a week and nothing back. That was Lund and pbd, although p, did finally get back, rather short but did.

First reply back from Aed was minutes, followed by a reply within minutes to 1/2 hour and on weekends, even after a dozen emails..lol

That says something to me and most likely who I’ll get using, Shaun seems like a real smart mofo with coyotes.

Just my experience..Was also curious on time frame, seems really reasonable.

Yup Shaun's responsiveness was always appreciated. Performance was also spot on. Wengerds service also gets raves reviews. With Lund the volume is just higher so they have a team of tuners and a ticketing system for organizational, logistics and tracking purposes. Helps them do their jobs obviously, but may be perceived as slower turn around.

Thanks for all the replies. I had gone with PBD and sent my stock file back on March 10th kind of figured that with it so close to the weekend and them having a sale on their tunes that they would be busy but got an email 3 days later that i would be receiving my first tune the Mon. or Tue. after, the 14th or 15th. Well called on the 17th since no communication after a few emails and all they said they would do is email the tuner taking care of me. Well its the 21st and still no contact. May reach back out and bite the bullet and see about getting my money back since they are not even responding. Save up a bit more and either go with Lund or AED.

Well after i wrote this and reached out one more time, they finally reached back out to me with my base tune. So hopefully it gets easier from here.

I don’t know why everyone is having so much trouble with PBD all my questions and tuning needs where taken care of within a day or less turnaround.
