So having an issue with my 2018 Ecoboost, my passanger tri bar in the headlight is having issues listed below:

Remote start: driver on, passanger off until it starts
Auto lights: works in park, passanger shuts off in drive if it is light out and both work when it is dark.
Lights manually on: both work in all conditions
Driving lights: same as auto
Light switch off: same as manually on.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what did you find out? Yes, I have Google it and seen people in forums with the issue, but none of them said what they did minus replacing the light. Thanks

The headlights are in a sealed plastic housing. You may be able to pull the housing apart and replace the tri-bar daytime running light (or upgrade to something fancy from Diode Dynamics), but the simplest thing to do is replace the whole thing. But they're kind of expensive.........

Now that I'm thinking more, you will probably be able to replace both of them with a nice after-market set for less than it costs for one OEM light. (Like Morimoto, Form, etc.)

Or find a used one somewhere. Good luck!

Yeah checked at ford and if I remember it is almost $1.5K for one. I have an extended warranty but nervous having ford diag for like 10 hours and shoot up the claim and get denied and then I'm stuck with a diag bill since I would go aftermarket before I spent $1.5K on oem. I am just curious if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to resolve it minus replacing the light. Thanks for the reply.

Given that they work sometimes I'd wonder if it's not the control circuit. Maybe the light switch or the BCM. I'm sure the light itself has some electronics in it as well. Or maybe just a bad ground wire somewhere.
Personally, I wouldn't be buying a new light/lights until I did some more troubleshooting. A FSM with a wiring diagram will be a big help.
If looking for a used light, LKQ or one of the Mustang breaker yards will get you one that looks brand new without the new cost.

I was thinking the same. I Scanned it with forscan and didn't see anything wierd. I may look for a cheap light or switch this weekend. Thanks for the reply, it is definitely a wierd issue to me.
