Oh that’s fine then. I’d probably only store 2 weeks worth of it. Saves me burning 1/8-1/4 tank just getting home from the station 😅

Just remember. In Alaska and the northern territories of Canada, they put drums of gasoline on airplanes.
Well yeah, how do you think we stay warm when we're flying........

Ive heard 3-5 months. But i had some remnants in a red jug from a couple months back and i tested it for shits and giggles and it tested 87
You can't use the normal shake and wait vials to test for water in E85 (because it mixes with water, and you're adding water anyway). The point of those is that they're separating the Gas from the ethanol-water mix. If the ethanol has absorbed water from the air, you're SOL with that testing method. I should actually read higher if water has found a way in. I don't believe that type of tester will read any differently if the E95 has degraded from oxidation which is probably the real issue.

Internet says it can last a year tho in storage, and it doesn't sound like water absorption is a big issue.

It’s not if it’s sealed properly. My 1 quart long term test E76 blend is over 13 months old and still tests E76. It’s in a sealed glass jar with rubber seal. I’ve used E65-85 that sat for 6-8 months and it tested and performed just the same as coming out of the pump. My bud ran pump E for 6 years in his turbo build 2005 GTO. Never drained it out of the tank ever even during 6 month NY winter storage. Fired up and ran 9’s every season.

It lasts a LOT longer than people think. Sure it won’t last very long sitting in a mop bucket out in the back yard.

Nope. I fit 6 in the trunk. 4 on the back seat, and one behind each front seat. They never leak or tip over.
I made it fine by the way guys😂😂😂 those vp jugs are awesome!!

The closest station to me is 45 minutes away.

The most I've carried back with me was 8 cans in the car with me, and 4 in the trunk. Granted, this was my old car that had more room. Use to do it once every 2 weeks.

Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy pulling out a dozen Gas Cans and standing at the pump breathing E like a junkie getting a fix.

Going to test how many I can fit in the GT after it comes out the shop.

This was a picture straight from the pump. Love it.

Can confirm the vp racing jugs work great, I got the 3 for $100 on Amazon. Unfortunately they don't fit in the trunk unless sideways, so I just put 2 in the backseat

In what car? You can put 4-5 across the back seat alone. One behind the passenger seat on the floor, one on the passenger seat.

Those VP jugs are expensive here in the land that Uncle Justin built.

VP Racing Fuels Motorsport 5 Gallon Plastic Utility Jug Red w/Deluxe 14 Inch Hose Kit (2 Pack) Fits Most Automotive Gas Tanks and Has Built-In Filter, Gas Cans - Amazon Canada

But I'm thinking of ordering a set so I can fuel up with 93 at the last station before heading out into the land of 91 Max and visiting my mom.

Fill the tank up to the brim
Fill up two of these and throw 'em in the trunk (strapping them down)

Should be good to go for a trip up north in the beast!

I dont have a pickup ATM but if there's interest I have at least 3 50 gallon barrels that can be pressed into fuel service. If you want to come out to Manassas for a fill.

Thanks for the offer but I'm actually pretty close to the royal farms in oxon hills, and a late night drive there once a week is nice. It's tested 80%+ consistently but wonder what it'll be in the winter.
