I was planning to do some HPDE at some point this year, which like you said might be more value. But i also have some air miles and could get there for free. I was also planning to go to Zion NP or something and make a week vacation out of the trip.
Well if you want to experience it - obviously the 1 day would be the best deal since you have travel covered but since you cant get that, seems smart to do as Tomster says and bite the bullet with the 2-day course.

Don't they add dates throughout the year? IE, Full now, dates to open up?

I am in a similar situation. I got my car a tad over a month ago. Got my supplement kit in the mail about 10 days ago. Everything for the single day sessions is sold out before I even got a chance to look at it and with several house projects coming up I'm not going to in the position to spend the extra money for the 2-day event. I sure hope they add more dates or allow those of us that got the cars (and therefore, the info) too late to go next year. Not getting my hopes up though.

I've only ever heard about Track Attack from 3rd party sources like this forum. My dealership knew nothing about it when I spoke with them about signups. I was never contacted by Ford about Track Attack after my order from Flat Rock, or after the actual purchase upon delivery last summer, nor did I receive my owner's supplement kit with the trophy. I called in and spoke with someone and exchanged emails with Ford Performance, providing the info they had asked for, but then never received the supplement or heard from them again.

Ultimately, I didn't buy the car for Track Attack or a trophy, but it would have been nice to get the option, especially since it seems to have been included in the package that I bought brand new from the factory. Don't get me wrong, I love this car, and my 1st world problems could be worse, but not being able to get the top available model without huge ADMs, or misaligned panels, fruity orange peel everywhere, and an incomplete ownership experience, like not having access to the TA or even an owner's supplement, can sour the experience and will certainly linger in the back of my mind the next time I'm ready to add another toy to the stable. In the long run though, I have a great piece of American machinery, that sounds great, takes me on fun adventures and sparks more random conversations than any other vehicle that I've ever owned. I make my own TAs whenever I want, and hopefully the kid that has my supplement enjoys that trophy! :p

Anyway, that's my experience and perspective! Best of luck with your new ride and I hope that your situation resolves itself in a way the leaves you fulfilled.

I am suggesting that anyone who cant afford the two day course call Ford Performance and plead your case. I wouldn't expect any additional dates to be announced. The classes are running through the end of October. I don't think anything happens after that time.

Oh, and BTW, there are only two of the 2 day classes left. I would grab that September one before its gone.

I sure don't understand the negativity in some of these posts. I thought the Track Attack was excellent. The people on the phone, the instructors; everybody I met was fully into it and enthusiastic. I think some forum members get their panties in a bunch way too quickly. I guess some folks hear "free" and then figure they're entitled.

I took the two-day and learned a lot on day one, then applied it again on day two. If you're new to tracking, the Track Attack is a "gateway drug." You'll never be the same again. If you're experienced, you might just try to keep an open mind and learn something. OR, stay home and leave a slot for a newbie.

I say all this with a grin and a positive attitude! :D

I 100% agree I just bought a 60K car. Im already going on a pretty elaborate vacation that ive had planned since Sept 2017. I want PPF for the car which is $2300. Unfortunatly somthing has to give...I am not going to pay 1800 for the 2 day. That is like 4 HPDE events price wise. So yes you and I and im sure many others are in the same boat.

Where in Indiana are you?

I'm going to bite the bullet and do the two day, can't decide on the GT or Boss. Most likely GT as it will be closest to the GT350. Only issue is my wife and I usually take a fall trip to HI in October and this may effect that.

I am on the north side of Indy...are you in Fort Wayne I was going to do the 2 day if i didnt have to pay ahead, but I cant justify paying 1800 4 weeks before i leave for a 2 week vacation to Europe. Plus I was planning to have PPF installed in May.

Exact same boat! I want PPF and I need to pay to have my driveway curb redone so I don't have anxiety driving up it anymore (2500). I also want a set of forgelines GS1Rs...

Like you we have a HI trip we usually go on in later October. Fortunately I don't have to pay for the resort (Marriott destination points) but i have to pay for flights etc.. Plus take time off of work..

Yes, i'm in Fort Wayne.

What month did you buy your car? It would be really nice if they would allow us to book 2019 as long as we book before weve owned the car for 12 months.

Curious who you talked to...any time I contacted the FPP info center they were incredibly helpful. Many people here have gotten their kits by emailing [email protected] too

Great post. I went in 2013 for the Boss Program and again last year for GT350. There are PLENTY of repeat attendees even on this forum, clearly, there is a reason for that.:ford::headbang:

Bought 3/22. I don't have the owners kit yet, I just called the track with Vin#, date of delivery, dealer and city. After all checked out they said call in to book and pay in full for the 2nd day :frusty:
We bought ours on the same day! Definitely should have that kit by now. Not thrilled to hear what they told you on the phone... :frusty:
