I hope I'm not duplicating a previous discussion, I couldn't seem to find, one so here goes.
My question is:
Is there more or less driveline slop having Torsen vs Trac Loc?
I'm talking about the back and forth clunk/slop at stop and go/parking lot speeds and the slop feeling you can hear & feel while at cruising speeds when you are coasting then tap the throttle and you can feel the driveline slop.
Now, if one had say 750+ rwhp what diff would handle this best? I had an 05' that had 70,000 miles when I supercharged it. I decided to have gears changed to 3.55 and when they got in there the clutch packs were junk. They highly recommended I switch to an Auburn Locker (similar to Torsen?) which I did.
Just wondering if someone was going to change gears what diff should be considered for this application?
