Has to be faster than 115. I hit 113 in 3rd in my Bullitt when data logging for my tunes.

This video may contain some clues about how fast a GT can go at the top of 4th gear.

Now that you mention it, I do remember noticing 125 in 4th on the uphill esses at VIR. So Yeah, I was wrong. I haven't invested in a data logger yet and I don't usually take my eyes off the road to look at the speedo. So I answered prematurely! :facepalm:

No worries. Taking ones eyes off the road at any speed can be very bad, especially when running in the triple digits, so I definitely understand what youā€™re saying.

This can be calculated from tire size and gear ratio.

MPH = wheel rotations/minute*wheel circumference (in)*60/63360 (to convert from inches/minute to miles/hour)

wheel rotations/ minute = engine RPM/gear ratio/axle ratio, so for redline it's 8250/1.24/3.73 = 1783.7 wheel revolutions per minute

Tire circumference = diameter (26.5" per TireRack)*pi = 83.25" (NOTE this is for the GT350R; GT350 tire is smidge taller, so speed at a given RPM is slightly higher)

So MPH = 1783.7 wheel rev/min*83.25 in/rev*60 min/hr / 63360 in/mi = 140.6 mi/hr
