"Poliția română" joined the chat 😄 😄 😄
No problem. If you open the link and read the actual story you'll find it was precisely the police who encouraged me to do it. 😁

I did 185 in a vette on road atlanta with a pro driving me.then i read an article that was scary 80% of accidents over 80mph are fatal.so I stay under 80
Then don't have an accident. Problem solved.

Top of the speedometer on A9 going to Nürnberg, Germany from Bayreuth. Scary as mess but car was a dream. I have no idea how fast I actually was going because it caps at 160 on the speedometer. But RPM’s were still going up.
You can have the Bullitt firmware uploaded to the IPC, which will give you a 300 km/h speedometer. Sadly, I couldn't find anyone to do it in Romania, but in Germany there are several tuning companies that offer this service.

Not so subtle flex with proof to back it up. Well played sir. I am just a tab bit jelly.
In my AO, I can get to about 110 mph (177km/h) before I typically come across Karen thinking she's helping out LEO by doing maybe 5 over the limit in the left lane and keeping everyone else from going any faster. A younger me would have gotten frustrated enough to make some aggressive lane changes and pass where folks wouldnt expect it, but that makes me the a$$hole.

My old ZX14 would pull HARD to the 186mph limiter! I got clocked and pulled over by a South Carolina State Trooper in a pursuit Camaro(in 2001) for 144mph on I95 at the N/S Carolina border heading to Myrtle Beach. Oh, to be young and dumb again!

So is there a consensus on what the actual, aerodynamically limited top speed is a for stock GT with an A10? It's 155 mph or so with the computer limits right? (a third gen '21 with PP1 and factory tires if that even matters)

Do any Bullitt or Mach versions have different top speeds? I'm sure the Shelby's do...

Thanks, and thats moving.........120 was my 'new' high speed! But, I was more interested in what the V6 w/AT w/do with enough time and real estate?
I see you've gotten a couple dozen answers from V8 owners. 😅
I'm also a V8 owner and don't have a relevant story to offer.

My boss has a 2014 V6 (so, S197 chassis) and has been to about 80mph, somewhere up North.

...But elsewhere on the internet I've found 2015 news articles who quoted Ford as saying the V6 Mustang could go 121mph. (Up from 115mph.)
In this forum someone said the V6 is electronically limited to 121mph,
because the driveshaft isn't made to spin any faster than that.

Other people disagreed about the drive shaft. 🤷‍♂️
Drivetrain RPM has been a limiting factor on other Ford cars, such as the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor: The programmed top speed supposedly varied with the rear end gear.

The Bullitt comes with 163MPH limit........which I took off and some dude has his Bullitt maxing out at around 182mph on the Autobahn.

After having my Roush P2 2019 tuned I hit 165mph. Once. I may have been going faster but the digital dash apparently won't go past 165.
