USDM base Ecoboost are supposed to be limited to 121mph
Driving mine home from the port the limiter stopped me at 224 kph or 139mph
Don't mind the date on my dash cam, it reset when it ran out of power because the battery is shot. Or I managed to score an s550 back in 2012 somehow:lol:

I know that this is not the Forum for this but there is a camaro titled Big Red that actually holds a land speed record of 187. MPH on a stretch of 2 lane highway I think in Nevada . The Silver State Classic Challenge .

To reach these speeds at such a sustained rate these vehichles have to lightened and Strengthened . The tires shaved for weight and rotational forces subjected from contact patch .

Theredore these types of stresses must be adhered to and compensated for before any attempts may be undertaken .

From my latest trip to Mexico :) I'm using improving my 1-140 as an excuse to get a new intercooler.

Wow, that was fast. You hit 140 just as fast as any GT it seems.

Your right becuase "big red" is pretty much a full blown race car.

Thing about going this fast is folks should understand risk reward. At The silver state classic people have been killed becuase of a blown tire. If you plan to drive the 140 class (meaning 124 to 140) they require 5 or 6 point harnesses, four point roll cage and arm belts, after 160 the cage changes to 6 point with door bars and more crap.

I do plan to race mine and I will put all the safety items in it even if it isn't required, but while I don't mind going fast I just want folks to be careful and realize what can happen.

I lived in Germany, saw some high speed accidents on the highway,,resulting is death. No offense to the European guys but generally other drivers are no better than here in the US, and in the western U.S. we have long open highways. But it isn't a game, I suggest folks do some track days and take a class. Don't want to see anyone hurt.

I remember days on the "busa" going 170 and thinking today how stupid it was on an open roadway.

In saying that I do want to see 165 in my Stang someday. Once I get one.

Now if my kids would stop asking me for money maybe I could order mine :D
