There is a word called resistance lol
Obviously... You factor in drag and everything else the final number would be different but It was an overstatement. Maybe 240 mph is achievable with the right conditions/drivetrain/aerodynamics

I think the 155MPH limit is to comply with US and Europe guidance but can be removed or changed. I believe the hard 186 MPH is coded by Ford and cannot be changed. Maybe . . . . .

The 186 is because that is the highest DOT tire speed rating "Y"

Curious what a supercharged gen 3 could do without a limiter with an 10r80 and 3.15s..

Just did the math, redline is 7500 rpms, tenth gear is 0.64 and rear axle is 3.15. With pp2 tires at 305/30/19 for a circumference of 26.2 inches, top possible mechanical speed is 290 mph.. Crazy.
That sounds similar to my car. Ive only went 170ish so far though

I wouldn't go past the governed 155 before upgrading my driveshaft first. Imagine that thing exploding at 155 that would be gnarly
I can tell you first hand. Dropped the Drive Shaft on a 72 Charger Racing. As soon as I stepped off the throttle , rear Universal separated. Took out the rear and Transmission. It sounded like a bomb with sparks flying. Race winner but expensive for sure.

Will the power pack level 2 remove the limiter?

With enough information, top speed can be estimated pretty closely.

With stock-ish aero, you're looking at needing around a thousand HP at whatever rpm corresponds to 240 mph in whatever gear it takes to get there.

Give the car 10% better aerodynamics and it's still going to take over 800 HP.

I've been through this kind of math just a few times . . .

Both the analog and digital speedo readout max out at 160 on 400a cars but the car can go over that with a tune but the speedo will just say 160 while RPMs are still rising.
