I carry a knife and one of my work hammers just in case there is some road rage that gets out of hand or some stupid cop is bothering me.
Are you going to start this again in another thread?

Rope, a bag of lye, 6 mil roll of plastic, a shovel and duct tape.

Wrong car here you go.

Small storage box of screw drivers, 2 pair of vise grips, needle nose pliers, a knife, duct tape, gloves a tire plug kit and a GB40 oh and the correct socket extension and ratchet for my thin wall lugs.

spare tire, 12V electric pump, and a few light weight items, such as jumper cables, rags and paper towels. I don't like to carry any heavy tools unsecured in my trunk. With the fold-down seats I would concerned they could become loose objects in a collision.

Im thinking some of the "I don't need no tools" people are the ones that don't know how to turn a wrench anyway.

Also

$467.99
Pretty cool but definitely pricey. I keep a leathermans, another multi-tool swiss army knife, flashlight, gloves, tire gauge, microfiber towel and a socket. I can't forget the puke bag either(kids) lol.

I haven't had to make many roadside repairs over the course of my driving life, but they have come up. If I can deal with it myself, either as a "permanent fix" right there on the spot, as just a band-aid until I can get home and finish the job up right, or even if I have to leave the car and come back and tow it myself that's what I'll do.

Aluminum floor jack (I refuse to use the scissors jack when I have this option)
12v tire pump
Should be a pair of gloves in the trunk somewhere
Quart of oil, can of WD-40
Windshield cleaner & paper towels
And this box of tools that I put together for my track days that I just leave in place

I've need to get a fire extinguisher, glad it was mentioned earlier.

Hahahaha! Your not supposed to carry that in your car. You build little kits and bury them in remote locations. Noobs :D

My car's already 3800 pounds. I don't want to carry around any extra weight.
