Even if we ignore the 764 and stick with the 209...do YOU want to be one of them? Seems like a pretty cheap and easy thing to invest in for at least a shot...an option...should you find yourself in that situation.

It's popular to blow $150-$300 on oil separators. Hell, I have one!! Yet I've never seen any evidence that NOT having one broke an engine and an S550's engine specifically. Yet spending $20-$30 on an extinguisher so you have a chance to avoid burning given the right circumstances...that's far fetched?

Again, I'd rather have and not need than need and not have. But YMMV.
fire extinguisher would be a more rational mod over an oil separator. As the oil separators tend to be associated with higher RPM, and higher speed, and higher speed is more likely to get you than a random electrical short or fuel line failure. Of course, you could set your MyKey for 70 mph, and that is free. Although I don't imagine many people will list that mod in theire signature. At least here on M6G.

I just noticed that. I guess typing a bunch of text to say thanks is better than a single mouse click?
This is what he PM'd me in June and how I responded. I never heard back.

Chameleon, please feel free to call me on anything I'm lying about and I'll have a mod help me screen shot/post the PMs from back in June.

On the fire extinguisher end...not sure of how/where I'll keep it. The mount by the seat/feet might not work for me because I sit really far forward and I wouldn't want it tripping up my shifting or pedal use.

Take it easy, I'm heading to bed. :)

Look at OP's zero thanks in all posts, this guy likes to start stuff. Pay him no mind
The hell with that. We need to track down the people who gave HIM the 96+ thanks and burn them at the stake! ;)

Doesn't Facebook recognize 58 genders? You just snubbed 96% of them.
