Temps were 48-50 degrees today.

Went and drove my car around for about 15-20 minutes to get the engine and trans up to temp. Also to get some heat built up in my summer only tires.

I pulled out and nailed 1st gear, nailed 2nd and spun the shit out of my tires and stabbed 3rd. All gear shifts right at the limiter and guess what?

ZERO FREAKING WHEEL HOP and the shifter was impeccable.

The last round of suspension mods have removed all the hop. This is no lie. It is cold out, too and no hop in this cold weather. I cannot wait until it gets above 75+ where my tires get max grip.

The feeling is amazing that in 1/2/3 gear or at launching, no wheel hop, it is a feeling that is beyond description.

Carry on...That is all...Except, go buy yourself some Steeda parts and enjoy your S550 ten time more than you do now :D

David, you just don't know!!! It is such an awesome feeling. I have to be careful not to grab 1-2 all the time now. I'll burn through my tires in 2 months

it has an engine!
Finally got my GT350 steering wheel installed today. I have dyed my stitching red to match my Redline interior and it matches it perfect! This looks factory and I am in love with it!

Install was super simple and took about 25 minutes from start to finish. Glad I bought this wheel early on when they first became available.

Couple pictures. No making fun of my warm slippers, either :).

UPDATE - I have changed the Steeda Sport springs (linear) to their new Steeda Sport Progressive springs.

http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang-sport-springs-progressive-2015-gt-v6-coupe-555-8210/
Can I ask what your motivation for doing so was?

On my Harley, the progressive rate springs prevented brake dive (hellish on stock-suspension Harleys, IMO) but didn't result in the tight but compliant ride I had hoped for. Putting in a lowered linear spring instead was much better. Obviously this isn't a Harley so I don't know if the intended effects of progressives vs. linear springs are the same. I guess... what convinced you?

I plan on tracking my car and buying a set of 18" or 19" dedicated track wheels and tires. Going this route. I wanted a linear set vs. progressive springs.

The progressives handled great and rode amazing. Best of both worlds if you never want to track you car. They reduce brake dive a lot over the stock GTPP springs.
Damn that's sexy.
Thanks man:cheers:

How come pix on this site don't shrink automagically to my screen size like other forums. What I do wrong?

But if I want to go on a track just to tool around and no crash but just have fun but otherwise daily drive, you think progressives are best then? I thought the linear ones are better suited to the "rest of the OEM suspension stuff" from what I'm reading. But, I know nothing John Snow.
