You don’t want to know
If you dont drive the car that much then forget the Tech Pack. Not worth it in my eyes. Track Pack then yes b/ i drive to and from the track and enjoy it!
I vote save that money and put it in the bank or buy a nice set of wheels. Forgelines, CCW....3 piece step lip wheels. Make your car different than others.
How many "nice wheels" are you planning to get for the $1K difference between the Tech and Track Packages? One? I guess you could get a nice set of four steelies from an old Fairlane, but I'm not sure they'd fit!

I am getting the Tech Pack. Having the additional creature comforts will be nice. For me it will be a sporty car with some refinement. I don't think so may people will track the car as much as they say. Having some fun on a twisty back road on a Sunday is enough thrill for me. Track cars have a much higher chance of getting damaged. I don't have the money to buy a GT350 just to race it and get it wrecked. I don't think the insurance company will cover it on the track.

I just want a base GT350 for 48,000, almost any color as I can't pick one anyways and clad I don't have to kinda. Hard to believe no silver, really Ford?
After much debate, I can't bring myself to pay almost $8k more for the tech pack. The value of the base model is too great to pass up. I prefer the base Recaro seats, I can use navigation on my smartphone, and I can always go aftermarket for satellite radio. I will miss magneride and wish it was a stand alone option but such is life.

What is the "Integrated Driver Control System" that comes in the Tech package, but not in the electronics package?

Your insurance company will not cover any track days at ALL! But there are independent insirance companies that you can buy into "track day" insurance any where from $200-400 a day depending on which track, which day of the week and value of the car,. In my eyes worth it!

I think I may have changed my mind to tech pack yesterday. Went to lunch with a friend who drives an EVO. If the Recaros are close to that then I'd be replacing them anyway because my hips don't fit well in them. Somewhere buried in these forums there was a post about the recaros being close to the recaros sportster and after some quick googling the EVO would be similar. I know I could stand to lose a few pounds but the bolstering in the seat cushion was hitting bone.

So it's either get the track pack and be uncomfortable in my DD until I replace the seats or get the tech and be comfortable and maybe replace seats down the road. I can add at least two of the coolers easily and the looks of the upgraded stereo is nice so I'm thinking tech pack and since Id be buying new seas with the track pack, might do the same with tech just this way I'll be comfortable until I decide to track it and replace some seats lol

It would be Tech Pack all the way for me, for the seats and the doo-dads.

Seats first, since I'm built like a linebacker and the Premium GT seats fit me perfectly. I wouldn't want anything more snug, personally.

My other issue is he spoiler...that tiny lip spoiler has gotta go and be replaced by the track pack spoiler. Hopefully we will be able to order that from ford. I would assume so since they would need replacement parts for accident vehicle repair right?
