This is amazing!
Question for anyone who knows or can help me..
I reached out to Shelby regarding a widebody build on the new GT500 and heard nothing back. How long does it normally take for someone to get back?
Thank you
That is a damn shame, I learned to not ask dealerships about anything because they are useless when it comes down to the info we seek. Apologize to any salesmen out there for FORD and other companies. If I hear anything i'll post it on here.
In 2015 I was invited to test out the GT350 and R’s at Monticello and Limerock as an interested customer and former GT500, Boss 302 owner.
Does anyone have any inside info if FORD will be holding these test day’s In the near future? I haven’t heard anything and it’s pretty much that time.
Thanks.
Ahhhh ok got it and thank you for clearing that up!
I realize I'm alittle late but shit that red Multimatic 350 is beautiful. I would love to have that at the track. I love my built e92 m3 but that is another level of perfection and beauty. If Ford ever threw a Dual clutch in the 350 and...
Very nice build indeed. Now at the track a month ago, a fellow mustang enthusiast who had an inside told me that they do not use the same FPC motor as out going models. They mainly use a coyote motor for reliability reasons. Made sense to be because the coyote doesn't vibrate as hard as the...
I Love my 2011 e92 m3 and building her identicle to the GTS M3. I just replaced the rear Subframe bushings to Delrin/Solid, the diff bushing to Delrin and did the Front Monoball bearings, Coilovers, 6 and 4 Piston StopTech BBK, Track Pads, Motul, Tune, 18' BBS E88's, 275 front and 295 Rear R...
i track my e92 m3 DCT and im about to order the R. Im keeping my E92 because it is purpose built and the v8 motor is perfect! plus i love the dual clutch. i test drove both at a track event and i knew id fall in love and i did immediatly. i miss driving manual.....but, If you are able to...
That is just amazing, I'm happy for you man and everyone else that is lucky enough to currently be part of this experience.. R's and non R's. After i drove it at my favorite track I was sold.
Because the dampers for the trunk are different in both models. I actually track my cars and use them for what they are built for and I was surprised that this piece that is supposedly made of carbon fiber was really this heavy as I physically held it. My thoughts and observation.
Look I'm not here to argue or to stir anything up... I work in construction, landscaping and I'm a mason, I know what 40 pounds feels like I work with concrete, mulch etc on a daily basis. Not saying ford didn't build a quality product I'm just curious why the part has to be so hap not saying...
makes sense with the aluminum base for instal and keeping it sturdy, but trust me...line up an R and a Base model 350 and open the trunks...you will tell. The wing by itself was very heavy, the display wing.
I was at Limerock last year for the test drive event, so i was toto pick up the 350R Display wing at one of the stations.....and it was literally 40-45lbs. I know CArbon fiber is lightweight because i have functional aero pieces on my track car, but this thing was HEAVY!!! Can anyone with a...
Great setup brother! planning for the same thing for my E92 M3 DCT and my 2017 350R. Now i'll be that guy, how do you compare the GT3RS to your 350? i know they are different animals in their own sense...but would love to hear your thoughts....or should i say ...read.
The m2 is cool but not awesome like the GT350 and I can't justify spending that $$. I will be adding a GT350 along side my 2011 (GTS clone) E92 m3 track star and 1998 e36 m3 coupe.
