An Oasis report will show if the car had any previous maintenance issues and if so what they were. Providing the dealer is a Ford dealer that is selling the car they can pull the report for you.
GP is an Army expression...means General Purpose, but has various meanings. In this case it means to ensure everything is ok, or kosher, or a quality control check. I use it sometimes when I’m talking to my wife....drives her nuts.
