Well I figured I would ask peoples opinions on this. I'm getting close to needing tires again, for sure on the fronts. I've got a pair of Firehawk Indy 500's on the rear wheels and I've not had a complaint about them in any weather conditions or for hard driving. With that said I do have 3 tires I'm looking at that offer the sizes both front and back that I'm looking for, and I thought I would ask for folks opinions on the tires. When giving your opinion note that what I'm looking for is not just how the tire performs during performance driving, but how it is every day and in your most common weather conditions.

OPTION 1: FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500'S- Don't necessarily need an opinion on these. I have them on here because I've liked them and they come in the sizes I want.

OPTION 2: MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S

OPTION 3: NITTO 555 G2

Fire away folks!

I just went threw the same thing. In my case I've driven the Michelin's and Nitto's but not the Firestone's.

I'd cross off the Nitto's right from the jump. To me they are just OK and no one reviews them as well as the Firestone's. They are a few bucks more too.

I am a Michelin guy at heart, I've got them on all my vehicles. The MPS4 is a great tire, quiet, sticky, rides well. The deciding factor for me is are they $600 better for a guy like me who never see's the track.

In the end I decided No, and have the Firestone's on the way.

Firestones. Match the front and rear. Great value, too. I love the Michelins but outside of track driving it doesn't do anything better than the Indy 500.
