What is everyone using for tire dressing? I've tried just about every foam, spray, gel from the local auto parts store. I was going to order the VRP super shine dressing from Chemical Guys, but in their video it didn't look like a lot of shine.

Any suggestions?

i have been enjoying chemical guys products for all of my detail needs. adams looks like a nice alternative but i have not tried their product line.

i love the vrp dressing, it is water based so it doesn't run or get messy. shine is nice and lasts for up to a week depending on weather and car washes. you may also order the liquid extreme shine spray. it is oil based but gives a better shine. both can be wiped after a few minutes of application to dull the shine, but i let it dry before driving. both products look great on the tires, last a good time and don't run onto the fenders or body panels.

I just applied Turtle Wax Jet Black to mine on a recommendation from a buddy that details cars in Chicago. Hes had it on his car for two months in Chicago weather and it still looks the same as the day he applied it. Not shiny, just makes em nice and solid black.

^This. Chemical Guys make some really great products, including their tire dressing options.

Used Wipe New Tires on my tires. Unlike most tire shines, this one leaves a shiny coat that sticks to the tire almost like semi-perminent clear coat. Box says its supposed to last 6 months and 100 car washes. Reviews have been positive so far.

Kind of depends on the look you want. The Adam's stuff is to 'wet' looking for my personal tastes. I prefer something that is 'black' but not 'wet'. I enjoy products by Pinnacle, also Chemical Guys and AMMO NYC.

Has anyone used the products from Groits Garage? I like their speed shine and wax. I haven't tried their tire products.

Give Opti-Bond Tire Gel a try. Water based and long lasting.

VRT has little shine, but they do have a new "wet look" product
