I have tried numerous brands, still haven't really found one that doesn't at least partially sling or else the stuff is hard to work with and expensive, also have yet to find anything that lasts more than a few days.

I have been using Opti-Bond Tire gel with good results and no sling. Last week I tried a bottle of Adams VRT a friend gave me a year ago. I prefer the VRT. No sling and long lasting (Opti-Bond holds up nicely also.)

sorry, to me a car isnt clean until it has some tire shine, I prefer a low luster, no sling shine, I use and swear by Chemical Guys Silk Shine, stuff is amazing!
Ya silk shine from Chemical Guys is awesome! very little is needed to get the job done.

I personally use Shine Supply decked out with a 1:1 dilute for a rich deep black.

https://shinesupply.com/products/decked-out

I use to use Adams but once I found this guy, It's even more simplistic and a legit product, the local detailer has a shop front and sells at online price with no additional mark up so no wait time and no shipping cost A++

I also found out most every detail supply chain is the same blend re-branded but shine supply Is the same formula Improved I'd recommend It to anyone.

:clap2::first::clap2: Yup..... I agree, Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel works really well!! I would add that it also works well with Plasti-dipped wheels. Mine are dipped black and the Gel gives it a smooth Satin finish that really lasts...

Well, then you are using the wrong dressing.
A good dressing should not fling.
I use Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel. Smells good and looks sharp.

I also agree with Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel. Seems to last a few weeks and no sling. It smells great and is available locally.

Dude :hail:

I ordered this and used it yesterday on my tires. Sweet baby Jesus this works well. Never used a water based tire dressing before so was skeptical but man did it leave my tires looking great. I hate super shiny tires but this gave it the just bought tires look. Thanks for this.

Here's another vote for the Turtle Wax Jet Black tire coat. It's actually a tire coat, almost like a dye, and not just a tire shine. It makes a really rich semi-gloss black look and lasts for about a month or so per application. That's through rain, snow, or anything else. A friend showed it to me and I won't use anything else now. It's super easy to apply and dries within minutes, so you don't have to worry about slinging it down the side of the car.

I'm not very much of a fanboy for many things, but this product, I absolutely am! If you give it a try once, I guarantee that you'll never use anything else again.

This stuff only available online? I think I may try this and turtle stuff. I've got Opti (Gel and spray) and some other stuff.

Yea I think it is only available online unless you live near the store in Cali. The only drawback (if you want to call it that) is that, although it will leave your tires looking amazing, it does not last very long. From talking with a few detailers, this is actually a plus. They told me that you do not want to use super sticky and long lasting dressing on your tires because they attract and pull in dirt/contaminants a lot easier and make it very difficult to remove. I was advised that water based applications lasting one week to 2 weeks was best.

This goes against what I have been led to believe, that I want the longest lasting and shiniest tire dressing I could buy. After cleaning my tires with an application of this product vs. cleaning the tires on my wifes car, which I used a silicone dressing, it's night and day. I can scrub the tires on my wife's car for an hour and still see brown :frusty:
