Comparing a 2019 GT A10 to the same car, 2019 GT A10 with pp1, which is fastest, and why? Also, what is advance trac?

Fastest how?

And AdvanceTrack are electronic nannies you disable by pulling apart harness plug under the hood. Takes....5 seconds.

All PP1 cars with the auto trans get 3.55 gears. Regular auto GT's get 3.15's and 3.55's can be special ordered but it is not standard issue. So for the most part a PP1 car will always be faster in a drag race than a regular GT

OP, Ford's Mustang building site is going to answer most of your questions.

If you want the fastest accelerating GT, you get the PP1 with Magneride, and the A10 auto. If you want the fastest around a road-course, you get the the PP2.

So for drag racing, a plain GT a10 would be fastest then, based on rear gear selection, as i understand it? I assume then that even a base GT A10 would still have drag mode, even without pp? I really like this new Gt, base with a10 and pp1. Lots of fun, and at 69 yo i enjoy the extra handling as much as i did the max acceleration years ago. These Michelin s4 tires bite like nobodys business! Best street tire i have ever owned.
I bought my GT off a dealers lot, got 7100 off msrp so that seemed too good to pass up in my area. Wasn't really ready to buy a GT, but the wife loved it, so that made the deal

No, that's not what the replies to your questions have said.

No, they don't. In fact I think you need the Premium 401A/PP1 & Magneride to get Drag Mode.

Any trim 301A and higher gets the drive mode toggle switch which includes drag mode. I have a 400A w/o Magneride and I have it. Test drove a 301A car w/o Magneride that also had it.

OP, the replies above have answered your question that a PP1 is going to be the fastest straight line car due to 3.55 rear gearing and stickier/wider tires.

Greg, does your car have the standard 3.15 or optional 3.55 gears? The 3.55’s will be faster in straight line

Nova, my 19 GT/CS has drag mode. I do not have either PP1 or MagneRide.

You don't need Magneride to get drag mode. At least I don't have magneride but I have all the modes.

Just make sure you get PP1 if you're not going to do anything with it. I have Roush coilovers so no magneride so i can't comment on that.

Can you post a picture of your "Drag Mode" switch/button/ dash alert?

I'm 99% certain that you have to have Magneride to get "Drag Mode", as it allows the softening of the rear suspension to promote rearward weight transference.

Show me something that says "Drag Mode Enabled", show me your drag mode being engaged.

I'm asking because I don't think your car has it. I remember reading back when the 18s came out, that you had to have the magneride to get the drag mode.

I have the same switch to activate drive modes (including drag mode) and I do not have Magneride. Like I said before, the only requirement to get drive modes is 301A, 400A, and 401A trim.

source: I have a 2019 400A w/o Magneride and I have used drag strip mode.
