A base car 300a does not have Drag mode it needs to be a 301A Pkg car and 3:55 gear would need to be ordered if no Perf pkg was ordered
Also would need to order new wider wheels and better tires.

IMO pp1 is one of the most worthwhile options

Curious as to why? When I added the toggles (with the 8” sync conversion) I can cycle through modes - norm - S+ - Track - drag - snow, so when I go “track” I get track exhaust (I have active exh) and sport steering. If I toggle though to drag, the exhaust stays in track, steering in sport, and I get the little tree icon. Is there a way to tell otherwise in shift points or rpm?

Is it holding track mode for drag mode? When I cycle past drag to snow/wet, exhaust changes back to normal as does steering.

I have 3.55s as a stand-alone option.

drag strip mode hits the tires so hard it will burn second 15 feet spin 3rd enough to feel it --Bark 4th and eek 5th thats how you know drag mode works

I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this has been answered....Where did you buy the sync conversion to the 8" screen and what is Forscan that activated the Drive Modes toggle..Im looking to do the same thing.....Thanks...
To add to the confusion:

I have a 19 10A Base GT - 300a(?) package. So no toggles, magnaride, or drive modes. I added a 4" to 8" SYNC 3 conversion, which requires a new center face-plate with an "8 opening for the screen and adds lower toggles.

Once you install the SYNC etc., and go in on FORSCAN, you can activate the toggle and all the modes. So when I toggle to track: steering goes sport, exhaust goes track (I have active exh), traction light warning thing goes on, track use only warning pops, and, most importantly, the transmission snaps shifts!

This was a "byproduct" of the Sync conversion, and I am super happy. I drive in S+ all the time.

The quickest in good conditions should be a 301A, non PP car with A10 & 3.55's. They weigh 100# less than a PP car. I weigh 340#, and I went 11.92/118 Bone stock on P Zeros, with a 1.870 60'. My weight puts me at a disadvantage, but someone weighing under 200# should've been able to run 11.79/119 or better 100% bone stock.

It's freaky when you spin the tire in Drag mode on the 4-5 shift at 94 MPH bone stock!

Both my '18 and '19 GT's had the same setup....301A w/3.55 gears as a stand alone option.

Neither were tracked, but I have run a PP1 car down in Mexico on a deserted roadway and it was pretty much even. A10's in both, no launch control used in either, and Sport Mode doing all the shifting.

I would say you are splitting hairs between the two. Now, on the flip side, my younger brother has a '18 GT base with the 3.15 rear end. I can walk that one pretty good.
