Just had a local shop remove the resonator and weld in an x pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers.

Man the stock headlights suck on these cars. Might have to change those out soon.

Lights are fine. Camera had limitations.

Yep...drilled a 9/32 hole in the bottom of the air box at the same time I drilled and pop riveted the OEM grill inlet tube to the Steeda Airbox...no problems with water draining now!
Don't know about everyone else, but the unit I received recent already has a hole drilled in the bottom. Might just be a change after producing them and getting feedback.

Oh and screw waiting to install this... It's going on tonight!

Someone with the Steeda CAI should do this test on the S550. It's fairly easy.

Interestingly Steeda did a similar test with very different results.

Pretty sure that would be an issue for all open element designs and not just Steeda. With that being said, I don't see this as being a problem.

I agree. The test is obviously on the extreme side. The only scenario I can think of where the filter can potentially get soaked like that is a car wash.

So I'm installing mine at the moment and have the airbox in the car. Did anyone else have an issue with the MAF wiring being too short to reach? What was the solution if you did?

Looks like the two options are 1) cut the fabric holding the MAF wires to the loom holder right in front of the airbox or 2) pull the loom holder for the wire the runs underneath the airbox to give more slack. From the pics I've seen, some people have really taught wires leading to the MAF and others have more slack (which I would prefer).

Any thoughts?

Funny looking at yours it would appear the wires for the MAF split off before the loom holder on the front right. Mine is after the holder (see below) which is why I don't have enough slack. Obviously it worked for stock airbox, but not the Steeda.
