I don't really want to run an additive as they tend to gunk things up and coat the plugs from what I've read. Calculating the mix here it comes in at E20 (20% ethanol). I might datalog a tank at E15-E17 and see how that goes but I doubt I would see much unless I switch to the 93 octane Map. I'm running a Cobb OTS Stage 1 (91 oct), 1 step colder plugs and a CAI. Next up is probably a FMIC and then Adam Tune+, once I recover from the FMIC cost. :)

You can safely run E15 and not tune for it because it's within the ecu's capability to compensate for the higher ethanol content. Anything more than E15 you need to properly tune for it.

I have ran E15 in mine for added insurance to combat negative timing corrections here in Texas. Basically, 1 gal of E85, then fill up with 93 E10. 93.7 is what it calculates out to by volume.

Yes Sir I do, not looking for E30, just a safer octane boost with the heat around here . I may do water/meth down the road as I have a Devilsown meth kit in the garage collecting dust, but that will require Adam.

Well that's encouraging, I only wish we had 93 here in SoCal!

Seems there's a fine line between the trade-offs before you have to tune.
Higher Octane (Ethanol) = Needs more fuel to make power, but less negative timing thus maintain power
Lower Octane = Makes power but more negative timing thus loss of power

Ha, so I stopped at the station that carries E85, and discovered they carry Sunco 100 unleaded at the pump.
