OK, I'm in FL and never see anything other than E10 or non-E gas on any pump. How is E30 and E85 being obtained other than what I see in some locations (e.g. Kansas) that have some mixer pumps? Where are you people located getting E30 +? Curious as I see all this tuning capabilities for E30, E85, meth.

Here in Texas we can only purchase E85 from retail fuel suppliers. E30 pumps do not exist here. Most everyone mixes E10 93octane premium with e85 to achieve an E30 equivalent. You can find a useful blending calculator I've posted a link for your reference below.

As far as performance is concerned; E85 and other ethanol blends raise your knock threshold which allows greater cylinder pressures and ignition advance than can be achieved with 93 octane (e10). This ultimately results in an increase in torque and horsepower if tuned properly. There are limitations though and if you are wanting to explore the world of ethanol you should consult a tuner before you just dive in.

Just so we are clear E10 is not necessarily 93 octane, please don't get that confused. Ethenol is ethenol and gas is gas. A lot of stations the unleaded gas can contain up to 10% ethenol in the gas which they post. Now some stations don't use any ethenol at all, so it's pure gasoline. E30 you hardly see, it's usually e85. Everyone mixes 93 octane and e85 or 91 and e85 to get a combined e30 percentage. You need to be tuned for this and a specific tune file for the car, plus you have to be careful because every stations content is different, even if it says e85. That's where testers come into play.

Also I guarantee you have an e85 station somewhere around you, not all advertise and you should talk to other gear heads and performance people as e85 is known to produce big power!!!!! Remember u can't run e85 without an aux fuel kit and even a turbo upgrade your limited with your stock setup. So if u ever want to achieve big power you need to get in the Korn game Asap!!

Search for E85 stations around you. They exist and if you're lucky one will be close

In Minnesota you can actually get E30 out of a pump but it is low octane, 30% ethanol. It is best to mix E30 yourself so you can obtain ~96oct level and still have 30% ethanol.

Nothing is required to run E30 fuel system wise, but you will need a tune to do so.

As far as E85 you will need a E85 conversion kit like I just released on my website last week. I have been tuning with E85 for a long time, and I'm currently the only person to have successfully converted these cars to run on E85 and make power.

If you are wanting to try E30 mix, you can purchase a tune from my website (as long as you are willing to use the Cobb Accessport, like everyone else ;)) and you can configure your blend with the second link.

Nothing around me except in Orlando, 60+miles away. I can live with a 350-365 whp tune using 93 octane gas!

I don't have an EB right now (profile states "future EB"). I've been reading, researching and collecting info. I misspoke the 350-360 number, that's E30. I thought that was in the max ball park for a tune with full mods + 93 octane, but checked my notes and was wrong. I have "wheel 330hp/400tq with full bolt-ons and Adam tune" and another per Adam "I have dyno graphs of 93oct posted for our P1 and P1.5 kit, 330-335whp 410-420wtq on BP 93oct". Nice numbers and if I can switch MAPs will out of town with access to making E30 then even better!

That's how Adam has my car set up,
Slot 1 93, crazy mode.
Slot 2 E30, Ludicrous mode
Slot 3 Economy/low octane, girlfriend in the car bitching about me racing mode.

Takes a second to switch maps and you don't even have to have your access port plugged in!

I watched the video of the switching, that's way too easy awesome!

With my wife and two possible teenage drivers, slot 1 (or whatever is default) would have to be 87 octane eco "wimpy" mode! Then 93 "crazy mode" and E30 "ludicrous" mode.
