It always seems like that to people who've never run it. If it was an even bigger pain in the ass (its not in the first place), I would still run it. Just on the stock turbo, E30 or an aux fuel kit tuns these things into monsters from light to light.
I hear ya, obviously there is a market for it. I just prefer to not have to think about it. I would rather just put in Port injection and get an either tune

seems like a meth kit is a safer bet?
I went with the WMI kit because closest E54 station (no E85 in AZ) is about 25 miles away. Adam said that he tunes WMI with 50/50 similar to an E30 tune. One drawback is more points of failure so you'll want to run it with a failsafe kit.

I haven't don't much research on WMI, what does the failsafe kit include? Is this something you have to purchase separately from the WMI kit?

Auqamist includes them, AEM just has controller fault and low fluid level, and Snow has none. On the Snow kit I'm running now, I wired up my own low fluid level failsafe with the low-level sender that came with the kit. You can get the fluid flow based add-on for both AEM and Snow, and I'm planning on getting one the next time there's a sale. You can also monitor STFT (short term fuel term) as fuel gets cut as more methanol's injected.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
