92 is the best we have available in Oregon and that's what Adam tuned my car for. Once that was dialed in he we went to E30. My AP registered 387hp for est. HP on my 92 tune, so I'm guessing it's around 350. With the E30 tune my AP registered 437hp.Those are impressive numbers. Did you get a 93 octane tune from Tune Plus too? Curious what the jump is from a 93 custom tune to an E30 tune.
That is pretty awesome. I am sure if feels like a completely different car.92 is the best we have available in Oregon and that's what Adam tuned my car for. Once that was dialed in he we went to E30. Night & day difference. Only downside is fuel consumption. E30 burns quicker and you use more of it. My 92 tune still gets 31mpg on the highway with cruise set to 73.That is pretty awesome. I am sure if feels like a completely different car.
What kind of fuel economy are you getting with E30?Night & day difference. Only downside is fuel consumption. E30 burns quicker and you use more of it. My 92 tune still gets 31mpg on the highway with cruise set to 73.
I don't know yet, I can't keep my foot out of it long enough to find out. :-)What kind of fuel economy are you getting with E30?
Yeah, I was thinking that might be part of the problem. I am working on getting my 93 tune dialed in and then I will get the E30 tune. I am not planning on running the E30 regularly, but I have a feeling it will be addictingI don't know yet, I can't keep my foot out of it long enough to find out. :-)
how are you mixing it, and did you have to do any other mods? or do you keep a jug in your trunk and mixing when you fill up?92 is the best we have available in Oregon and that's what Adam tuned my car for. I just finished my first full tank of E30. It looks like I lost 1-2 miles per gallon. However, the way lower price of the E85 makes up for this. Also, my car runs smoother and blows much less smoke (I have no cat). Overall, I'm sold on this fuel mix and tune. Last, do you more experienced E30 users think it's OK to continue to run this fuel mix all the time, or do you switch to full gasoline on occasion?Night & day difference. I mix it right at the pump. I use My AP which tells me what my fuel % level is. I have an App called E85 calculator to determine the correct ratio of 92 and E85 to blend based off the tank capacity, the current fuel level and ethanol content. I only use Chevron supreme and The E85 station is right next to it making it really convenient.how are you mixing it, and did you have to do any other mods? or do you keep a jug in your trunk and mixing when you fill up?
i'm in WA state, so highest available here is 92 as well
I average around 500 miles a week in my car. So I’ve been alternating every third fill up.I just finished my first full tank of E30. It looks like I lost 1-2 miles per gallon. https://adamtuned.myshopify.com/products/tune-e85-conversion-port-injection-kitOut of curiosity, would a conversion to e85 be worth it? Or do you need a built motor for that?

It always seems like that to people who've never run it. If it was an even bigger pain in the ass (its not in the first place), I would still run it. Just on the stock turbo, E30 or an aux fuel kit tuns these things into monsters from light to light. It seems like more trouble than it's worth.
