Well, I don't know exactly how much they weight but as I said they are pretty heavy, yes 50lbs each could easily be...

It means that swapping those cooled/heated leather PP crap with racing Corbeau I've shaved 60/70lbs...Less the back seat I guess another 20Lbs...

Really hoovers. I thought I'd save more than ounces by getting the "recardos". Oh well, I know they love me... they give me a big hug every time I climb inside.

Well if you got the premium and recaros then you probably saved anywhere from 10 to 30 lbs. who knows? I'm assuming the premium seats are within a range of 55 to 67 lbs a piece

Just a base with cloth "recardos". Tryin' to watch my weight. ;) Rear seat is going to go soon.

No, I remember the gt350 recaros being weighed around 47-49 lbs a piece and unless you've weighed the premiums at that much there's no way they are Less than the base cloth seats which way 50-52lbs each.

Aftermarket racing seats are typically in the 20lb range.

It might have been 50lbs recaros, and 100lbs premium heated/cooled seats. I remember the difference being around 50lbs.

Nope false information! A 400 a pack loaded gtpp scales at 3782 lbs compared to a 3705 lbs base gt!

There is no way the seat weight difference is that much! If i remember right a member here scaled the premium seat with the motor and compared it to a premium recaro, the difference was only couple of pounds!

I haven't seen the premium weighed yet, if you can find that post that'd be great lol. I've only seen base seats with the powered motor. With the leather and added cooling/heating I could see it being 5 to 10 lbs heavier due to that. While not impossible, it would surprise me if it was more than that.

First one has 3/4 tank gas with 3780 lbs and 3700 lbs without gas so 3800-3805 lbs with full tank! Includes 401a package with premium heated cooled loaded gtpp.

Second one, car and driver premium recaro 400a package no subwoofer and premium audio, leader recaro! Weights 3782 lbs full tank of fuel!

Even lower than that! The lightest would be base factory seats i think!

-- but in going to the Corbeau you're also losing the airbags. I'm sure it's posted somewhere the weight of the Recaro options. I also wonder what the base V6 seats weigh? I believe the V6 seats also lack the motors and such -- the Recaros have the same mechanical adjustment as the V6...

I've just went down the garage and I tried to hold a PP oem seat, I just couldn't with one arm and I could with both but now light...

On top of saving 60lbs with both front seats, The Corbeau are more comfortable and hold your body in the winding roads, the Oem leave you free to spread all around the cabin.

Read through this post a while back and didn't see any weight posted for the factory 20" foundry wheels. I just got new wheels installed today, and I weighed the stock wheels. My wheels weighed 35.7 lbs.
