That is THE best hood ever. Too bad it’s just for the 500. A replica of that one would be legit. Very GT4 reminiscent, and can’t go wrong with that. Price point not even as bad as I thought it would be.
Why would this not fit other mustangs besides the gt500? Where would the problems be putting it on a Mach 1?

Uhm, yeah…have you never seen the front end of a GT500? Lol

The Shelby models have the 2015-2017 style headlights.
Yeah many times lol
I know the front bumper is different, and even if the fenders are different, that doesn’t change the line on the body where the fenders mount to the inner body.
In other words, the line from the A pillar to the headlight should be the same shouldn’t it ?

Look closely at these two pics. The line is the same, the height is not.

Hi Dave,

Height yes, but mostly the curvature of the fender lines where they meet the hood is different.

Hard to tell based on photos, but based on aero I've seen in the wind tunnel, it doesn't look particularly functional. I'd love to see wind tunnel or cfd modelling on this hood.

But it does look great, and weight savings is always helpful.

I️ have Loved the look of this hood since I️ first saw it. Hard to decide between vented fenders or this hood.
