I like to disassemble things.
Only the only problem with that is, you can buy a security bit set from Harbor Freight for $10
I'd rather have security hardware in place than not. I'd venture to guess most don't carry security bits around such that they have the right one come stealing time.

Yes, and you have to rotate the security screws to different patterns every few days, lol

Ya know, with that Gurney Flap costing so much, maybe we should use security hardware on those bolts as well....
OK Tob: What size are those? :inspect:

Been waiting a few months for my GT4 wing/uprights. Nice to see how it'll look.

I don't, other than knowing has a much wider range of adjustment than the 2 position CFTP wing. As this moves forward I'll see if I can get any numbers to share. I'm certainly interested in how many more lbs of downforce it may get out of the elevated location.

I can certainly see that, Tob and I suppose it shouldn't surprise me one bit knowing where that airfoil started originally. I'm going to have to look this one up, but I'd be curious to know when the first one was used.

Well, at least according to Mr. G., the first application was Dan Gurney's team with Unser driving in '71 at a test track in Phoenix. It was Dan's eye deer apparently...again, no surprise.

What do you think, Tob, 600lb, 1000lb? No doubt every team has this fine-tuned to the max for every track and every driver.

During the race on Sunday, it seemed like every time someone pitted, the guy at the right front position nearly always tweaked the adjustment on the front wing. I never noticed anyone tweaking the rear, though but undoubtedly, it's a simple matter too and may very well occur as often as the front.

New hotness is wheels gone, NO blocks.

Thieves these days. So darn cheap.

Happened to a friend of mine a few years ago, this is a MCA mustang. Nothing special.

Sure makes me sick to my stomach seeing the photo even if it's a generic Mustang, Jim. I SO dislike thievery and thieves.

I need to have that thought more often when I'm out with her, too although I never leave her out of sight...well, almost never.

Cheap thieves...they probably steal the concrete blocks, break them up into pieces JUST large enough to do the job but, easily carry, then leave the rocks behind. Probably get at least two or three cars out of one block that way...efficient. <shaking head>

This was the 1st time I had met this lady, She lived in apartment complex and car sat in parking lot. She woke up on a Sunday morning and had discovered it on blocks. The blocks were landscaping blocks that every used for doing flower beds and walls.

She did not have many friends and did not know what to do, the wrecker driver would not drag it up on his flatbed until it had tires and wheels.

She posted on our local Mustang FB page and I happened to be a moderator. Reached out to her and helped. It just happened that I had a spare set of wheels in the shed we had recently taken off the wifes car. Threw them in the Excursion and went to help. I put the wheels and tires on the car and she drove it to the local dealer where under insurance put new tires and wheels on it. She has been a great friend since....

BTW, I still have the landscaping blocks around my house....:sunglasses:
