My first question is what is the difference in the dampers between a MY15-17 PP1 versus a MY19 PP1? Are they the same damper setup or are the 2019's better? If better, how much better?

My 2019 feels uncontrolled in the rear when it comes to uneven road surfaces. I hear a lot about replacing the MY15-17 dampers with either Ford Performance Track or Bilstein B6 to improve the handing. Does this hold true for MY-19 as well?

Is it possible to replace only the rear shocks without upsetting the balance of the car from front to rear? I would also like to install a set of BMR SP080 springs to get the car a little lower. Performance and control wise, how do these springs pair with the factory PP1 vs the Ford Performance or Bilstein?

Forgot to add: I don't track my car. Just looking for better road handling, bounce control, and a lower center of gravity.

Certainly as far as street handling is concerned, dropping the CG is way overrated. Lowering a car does not buy you as much "handling improvement" as the change in appearance suggests.

Thank you for your input Norm I will consider that. Do you have any advice on the dampers?

Ford Performance (I think the part number is M-18000-F) and Bilsteins (B6?) for non-adjustables. Koni yellows or possibly Steeda adjustables if you want adjustability.

Some have found the Konis to be a bit too firm in street driving. Harsh even, if dialed up from full soft too far too soon, and you encounter a bad stretch of road. They do seem to "break in" after a while, though.

A set of B6 Bilsteins and aftermarket rear shock mounts (of your choice) will help to get rid of the rear end bounce.
