I'm on Steeda DR and these are the Crusaders with AP valving. The dyno charts show some massive amounts of rebound possible with the AP valving if they are turned up. I was around halfway up.

I wouldn't drive the car on the street at 10 rebound with AP valving. They actually recommend it turned all the way to 0 for street or trailer. 2 felt better to me though on the street.
Great to know. This gives me some confidence to look at getting the Mike Maier adjustable spring setup w/ some higher rate springs in the future, knowing I can pair a shock like this with them. What fronts (shock and strut/coilover) do you have again?

Yup, these shocks should have no problem with high spring rates like are appropriate for what we're doing with the cars.

I have Roush V3s struts, Vorshlag camber plates and 550-lb springs. I want to stay with that rate but get a better shock.

My reasoning for trying these shocks was mainly as an experiment to get a feel for some low speed rebound control. Damn, if they don't work alright and the cost and availability is great.

Viking does have front struts, too...

Looks like a standard 2.5" coilover spring would work, too.

There's even a 400-lb kit but yeah, 2.5" springs so there should be options to go higher. I'm a little nervous about where the adjusters are and interference with the endlinks. They are at the bottom of the strut and towards where the endlink connects to the bar. I suppose it is possible to figure out different endlinks if needed though.
