About to pull a trigger on a GT350. Going into dealership with a hard number of paying MSRP out the door (after taxes, title, licensing, etc.). Is this a fair price or am I paying too much still for technically a leftover model. It’s specs are perfectly what I dream of and sitting in the showroom. First car purchase too, any tips guys?!

Too much!

ALL 2019's are sitting in a showroom somewhere.

What specs? Base or R?

Color? Stripes? Desired options?

What's the most I should be writing on the check for them? I was thinking 65k which would be roughly 58k before taxes and title? Would obviously try lower at first but trying to see if 65k is reasonable.

Honestly, I think your price of 58k would be a good OTD price, but that may be unrealistic in cali.

.

Harry,
I say write the damn check before someone else gets it.

My 2019 GT350 has been great. I have 3000+ miles in the mountains. The engine is well worth the extra $10K++..

My car has used no oil, and I have had no problems.

It may be some of the last of the real performance cars.

I paid $70.5k out the door on a $73.5k MSRP (TX 6.25% tax). 2019 GT350R with tech package, carbon fiber and stripes. Dealer came down $7.5k off MSRP. All depends how desperate they are and how good you are at negotiating.

that's killer. definitely the GT500 effect. these deals were not around a year or two years ago.

Most dealers here in the DC area are advertising cars at 5-8% discounts off MSRP. I know that sometimes these advertised prices are not accurate since they stack every possible incentive that you might qualify, but does a discount in that range seem reasonable on a 2019? Could I push for more? Looking at Non-Rs.

5-8% seems like a bit of a lowball at the 350's price. I just got a new 2019 at $3k off MSRP and cited a white 2019 non-R in Fairfax I saw online as one of the bargaining chips to get my dealer to budge on price.

Ted Britt and Cowles like to hold onto cars rather then sell them it seems. "Do you want to sell me this car today or not?!! Don't you think after 9 months of failing to sell it, it's time for a reality check?" might work to boot them off their perch.
