They don't sit around here. I can't always get to the dealer but when they'd call me about one that had come in and I'd always tell them wrong color for me I'd go back in a week just to look at it and it would be either gone or sold. I can see how in some more rural areas they might sit for a bit but not in a populated place like here with plenty of big money areas within arms reach. Guys are driving up from Miami to buy them since they're even harder to get down there. I can drive 5 min and buy anything from a Kia to a Bentley.

Within 100 miles of my zip code, there are 33 total GT350's available, 13 2016, 2 of which are Track Pack's. When I got mine a month ago, a 2016 Track Pack, there were 48 available. If you want a Tech Pack, there are a bunch available; dealers up in Northern Jersey have sernos 0071 and 0101 available...these cars are old! MSRP all the way!

going to finally check out a '17gt350 tomorrow...anyone have any insight as to what the usual ADM's are in the midwest? most of the posts i see are on the coasts and seeing as im in the WI area so id like to have an idea as to how far most people are stretching before going in.

A lot depends on the size and location of the dealer that you are dealing with. But lately it looks like $3K - $5K is the average ADM for a 2017. At a small dealer that is in a rural area, you may get closer to MSRP. If you are shopping around Milwaukee or Madison, 5K-10K would be likely. Again, that all depends on the dealer.

Minnesota/Wisconsin/Illinois seems to be a little stronger than all of the states in the middle.

Bay Area dealers are the worst on dealer markups. When looking last year, the most amazing dealer markup I saw was at Sunnyvale Ford on a 3 yr old used Boss 302 that was in rough condition for the mileage (lots of nicks and paint scratches). At the time, Boss 302's with similar mileage were in the mid $30k's and they had $20k mark up on it, lol. It was so outrageous I had to take a picture to send to friends because there was no way they were going to believe me. I'm having similar experiences with the GT350's...

Searching in Chicagoland area and then some... 17s are 10 to 20k ADM and 16s are 4k to 10k ADM. Looking for a 16 Avalanche Grey any color stripe & teck package.

Just look elsewhere. You are close to so many states where 16s will be MSRP or less and 17s will be less than $5K ADM.

Searching in Nebraska, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, etc will save you thousands. You can get direct flights from O'Hare to pretty much anywhere for cheap and have a nice drive home.

Gents, if anyone is interested in a Grabber Blue stripe-delete 2017 with the Electronics package, I have a lead on one in central Tennessee with a $3K ADM. I was damn close to buying it, but the logistics don't work for me as I'm 9 hours away and have to be on a plane in 2 days. PM me for the dealer details.

Bay area dealers are not the only ones who excell at mark-ups. I had a call-back from a dealer's sales manager in Washington state who wanted to inform me that they would sell their 2016 Magnetic GT350 R for $250,000 !!!! I asked him why he was wasting his time and mine with such a ridiculous offer - he had no reply.

One dealer (Petaluma, CA), told me flat out that they like to use the cars as an attraction for people to walk in, see and touch and they don't want to sell them. I asked how are the in business and he laughs at me.
