Well, if there is such a thing as the "Best" funnel, I think this certainly comes close. It's the simplicity that screams "why didn't I think of this?" Remove oil cap, insert funnel, twist a quarter turn, tight as a drum. Doesn't move, doesn't leak, unscrews for cleaning, done.

Well, the idea of having the same locking mechanism as the oil cap is good, but not really needed. Where it failed was in the execution IMO; the funnel should have been upright when locked. I'll keep using mine; never made a mess so far :).

Real men pour it straight from the bottle and don't miss.

Nah, but for real, this looks neat but the nice thing about the later UFO engine cover cars is that the fill hole has an extension that sticks up flat, so you can use any funnel you want and put zero effort into filling it up. Unfortunately looks like the Bullitt is like the older style cars, where it's slightly less convenient.

Yep, the Bullitt doesn't have an engine cover, so the oil filler cap is angled at the valve cover angle, which is pretty steep. On cars with the oil cap flat, it'd work great.

All good points. For me it just eliminates the chance of the funnel slipping and a messy fill. And for $10 all-in, it is well worth the peace of mind. The angle doesn't bother me since the funnel diameter is pretty large.

Now thats way better than trying to surround the oil filter in a plastic bag!
Actually, the plastic bag trick still works. Some oil will always drain out along the length of the filter and drip off the end and miss the yellow funnel. You can see the angle here, just something to be aware. The bag will catch that dripping.

After you've done a few oil changes on these perfpack gt's you come to realized its easier to take a little time and punch a hole in the lowest part of mounted filter..drain it out..then shove a rag under the flange and unscrew..

Since the funnel seals to the cover does the displaced air burp back through the oil in the funnel?
