I believe so but I'm not sure which one to get. Still waiting to hear back from them

Hope you don't have to wait almost 3 weeks
That's what iv been told. Oh well. Can't complain because Hexell seems to have gone far out of his way for this forum post.

I probably missed it in this forum but does anyone have the schematic to make this harness ourselves?

One more issue I found my volume for phone calls is really low. Do I need to adjust the volume in FORScan somewhere? I turned it all the way up while on a call and I was barely able to hear.

I want to make the harness or pinout changes myself but in the first post, all the schemes are gone or are very badly readable. Can someone send me the schematic files etc? Thanks!

And does anyone have the JST part number for me (the plastic adapter not the terminals)?

And is there any way I can convert a number from the APIM in Forscan or on the bezel to retrieve the VIN of the Sync3?

So after some time searching, I see people claim the first gen sync 3s have issues. Does anyone know how to tell the difference? Does anyone know what the difference between these are AS FAR AS why the part number sticker looks completely different

So how does a novice old guy go from base 2018 4” to 8” in easy terms. Do I just need screen and bezel if I don’t want XM or navigation?

Kleiss1 I do recommend you reading the topic (I know it's long) but people keep asking the same thing multiple times.

Read the OP, Navigation is part of the APIM so you can just buy a non-navigation APIM. (I do recommend that you get a 2018+ APIM because of the possibility to get the latest updates)
You just won't need a ACIM if you don't want XM. You can keep your own.
And for a novice, you'll need a wiring harness + the programming support from someone like hextall.
You will always need a new bezel, just don't get the GT350 one.
