That’s for the pre 2018. I think the 2018+ are different. There are $300-400 kits for the pre’18
that look pretty simple. $1800 for the 2018.

Our non NAV kit for 2015-18 is $1699 for forum members. That includes our new design harness, 2018 Recaro Bezel, 18-19 APIM/Screen that we now refurb, genuine Ford parts and we take care of all the configuration, firmware and software updates. BT, hazard toggle and drive modes all work.

2015-18 are the same. 2019+ don’t use most of the complete kit.

There are still so few 18-19 APIM's in the wild. Are you just upgrading the 4'' Sync3 to more Memory and flashing it as a fully working Sync3 + adding the 8'' touch screen?

Also if people can still direct me to the JST connector that would be great ;)

I'm not sure which kits you are referring to? We do Ford Sync 3, not the aftermarket stuff.

I installed a kit from Hextall. Everything seems to work fine except there is no sound at all and ac on touch screen don’t work. AC works through buttons. Tried Bluetooth and CarPlay. It won’t even let me select a radio station. The apim is still set to the previous car but shouldn’t the sound work. We are going to do a remote configuration later this week.

@Rapidx guess what? You have to pull it apart again. I had the exact same issue and it was one of the big plugs not completely seated (even though it felt like it was). I unplugged and re-plugged and all was good again.

It was a blown fuse. Sound is working! I’m glad I didn’t take it apart.

I'm buying a base 2019 GT.

Is there anything special for the 19 not covered? Am I correct that the 19 doesn't require any wiring? And the existing cables will plug directly into the sync 3 apim?
