So take the old GPSM out and mount my new aftermarket GPS antenna to it? Just wanna make sure I understood you correctly
Take the GPSM out, it's no longer needed. Pry the metal bracket off of the bottom of it carefully with a large flat blade screwdriver. The adhesive will stick to the metal bracket, use that adhesive to stick the GPS antenna to.

Thank you Thomas for all that you've done to make this thread possible! I greatly appreciate your time and help with making the swap possible for my car. There's been many times I've kicked myself for not going the GT route so that I could get the premium interior that Ford didn't want us V6'ers to have. Because of you, I'm a big step closer to the V6 Premium I wanted!

I hope that the measurements and video taken with my car will help those in the future! Once I get my ForScan license extended, I'll start tinkering with ABD code and post what works for my V6 (maybe we can start a repository on the OP with this info).

The values below worked for my 2016 V6 MTX

Drive Mode Toggle:
IPC:
720-06-01: xxxx-xxxx-x8 (just change the 10th digit to an 8. Should work on all models)

ABS:
760-02-02: xxxx-1xxxx

Hazard Toggle:
BCM:
726-29-02: xxxx-xxx0-xx

Park Assist:
APIM:
7D0-01-01 xAxx-xxxx-xx = ON // x2xx-xxxx-xx = OFF

HD Radio:
ACM
727-01-01: x0xx-xxxx-xx = ON // x8xx-xxxx-xx = OFF

ACM AMP: (Premiums have external amp. This will cause low audio if turned off on a base car)
ACM
727-01-01: xx5x-xxxx-xx = ON // xx0x-xxxx-xx = OFF

Issues Outstanding for my swap:
FCIM: B1A64 Left solar sensor and B1A63 Right solar sensor
PCM: P160A Control Module Vehicle Options Reconfiguration Error (dunno why I'm getting this. Maybe a value I used is for an Auto)
APIM: U0238 Lost communication with digital audio control module
ACM: B1A89 Satellite Antenna (I have a sirius ACM, but chose not to install an antenna)

A lot of people have contacted me about ACM harnesses after completing this swap. I plan to make another batch but I need to know how many people are truly interested. With Brett's car finished and RedfireV8 waiting to test the swap harness I've been thinking of attacking other outstanding projects.

For those unaware the ACM RCA harness will allow you to add RCA outputs to your ACM as well as giving you the ability to run speaker cables from an aftermarket amplifier to the factory speaker cables in order to have a quick and easy upgrade that can be removed if need be. You will need to change the as built data in your ACM to line level out (as opposed to speaker level) If there is enough interest I will make more however they will be prepay ONLY and I expect a lead time of at least 3 weeks. I hand build these and the profit margin is near zero, it's more a way to help people out than a way to make money. If it's something you want to see please PM me.

Posted this in another thread but seems to be different members active on this one so here goes...

Need a little help from you guys who are far smarter than I am..

Long story short, I have a Base GT non-PP and did a Sync 3 upgrade a few months ago (I had help doing this and someone else programmed). As I was driving today I scrolled through the gauges and noticed I have a screen with oil temp and then Boost/Vacum. I am assuming this would only be for the Ecoboost models?
If so, does anyone with knowledge think this could be a problem since I have a GT? Could those values skew my throttle response etc especially when using drive modes.
I remember the person that helped me was having issues getting the modes to work then tried through IDS (I believe) and said that it was strange he needed to change so much of the line...
Just kinda trying to figure out what my next move should be at this point.

Pretty sure the boost/vacuum gauge in the instrument cluster comes in all the models. GT owners wouldn't use it unless they added a turbo or something afaik

That and the radio are two different things so I don't see how it would cause a problem?

You just need to flash the correct as built data and it will be fine. It sounds like they flashed an entire line for that Ecoboost IPC, possibly more. If it's not throwing tons of codes it's probably not an issue but it is an easy fix.
Lesson to learn: keep a record of ANYTHING you change, screenshots are preferred bc then it's possible to post them and we can go back through and ID issues

Programmed the drive modes because I didnt previously have them until I added the toggle switches with the premium bezel etc.

Thanks, I'll try to get it sorted this weekend when I'm home and actually have some free time :headbonk:

Flash back to your stock IPC value for 720-06-01 and ABS 760-02-02. Then change to values I posted a couple comments back. This should take care of it.

IPC:
720-06-01: xxxx-xxxx-x8 (just change the 10th digit to an 8. Should work on all models)

ABS:
760-02-02: xxxx-1xxxx

I'm looking to start this swap but had a couple things I wanted to clarify before I begin. I had some questions about the wiring for the Sync 3 swap wires for a base car. When the wires are moved from the 4.2, ACM and GPSM connectors, are the wires removed completely from those connectors and then added to the APIM connector or are they left in place, tapped and then run to the APIM connector? Also, I'm assuming the black SYNC box from the base car will be removed completely? Thanks for your help.

I'm pretty sure that part that I highlighted in red is incorrect. The ABS part of this mod for the drive modes will vary by model - there is a different value for EB/V6, GT w/o PP, and GT w/PP. The value you supplied is the EB/V6 value and he has a GT w/o PP judging by his gear ratio in his profile.

Please see this post.

thet33 I made a more complete response to your similar post in the as-built thread here.
