I have an APIM/Screen from a 2019 Fusion I just purchased from eBay as well as a couple of bezels I found. Will the APIM/Screen work? Will either of those bezels work too? I have a 2019 GT Base with 4in display.

I love the detail on this from but to simplify to convert base 4 to sync 3 8 inch is to take apart Add mustang 4 to 8 wiring harness
Add the apim touch screen and the sync 3 usb if wanted xm radio now the programming if it isn’t programmed will it turn on will just have less features as in Bluetooth and if programming is needed which file needs to download to add to vehicle

Yes the bezels would work 4 or 8 inch display don’t matter it will fit in. long as it’s not a Shelby button wouldn’t work

I hate to bump this but I’d like an opinion before tearing this thing apart. I just installed everything from a base system to sync 3. I had bought a plug and place harness elsewhere (could be suspect), and tested it before I put it all together. The touchscreen and audio all worked but the cluster wouldn’t light up when I hit the start button. I put it all together thinking maybe it was because I didn’t have the plug under the console for the key wasn’t plugged in. With it all together it won’t turn on at all now. If I bypass the smaller plug on the back of the bezel and plug the factory harness directly to the bezel everything works except for the radio. Anyone seen a similar issue? In the meantime I emailed the seller about the harness and will hopefully get another one to swap in.

I think I figured it out. I didn’t use the harness for the bezel and acm. Everything else I did and it works. The only things I’ve noticed is that sync will work but the voice doesn’t, phone calls have no audio and once I hang up the phone it’ll go back to the radio but there’s no sound. I have to switch channels to get sound back. Oh and the compass keeps flipping from the direction I’m going to the opposite direction. Any help?
