So what do you guys use then (product and technique), if anything, to clean up the surface for new pads?

Anyone have any experience with how many pad changes the rotors will last through?

I'm about to order my third set of stock front pads, second set of rear pads, don't have the wheels off yet to measure the thickness. Also with the type of calipers i have handy, I'm not sure I'll be able to measure the rotors other than at the edge, which I'm guessing won't help.

Would the ebc reds in combination with the 2019 rotors (solid - not drilled) be a good street/light track duty combo?

Honestly, I'd just run the factory pads for that. They're not exactly terrible. Not the greatest but when you start hitting track pads and putting them on the street, you're asking for hell.

The best I can measure my rotors are between 1.410 and 1.430. Anyone know what they are new?

They are about twice the price of the 2013 and 2014 GT500 rotors, which I think were almost as big, is it the cross drills that make them cost so much? I wonder when the 19 rotors will be available.

It should be on the rotor hat (measured in MM I believe). But unless you have an insane amount of street miles (north of 60K I'd guess), cracks will happen before they're EOL based on thickness. How're the cracks? If the cracks are connecting the drilled holes, time to change.

Here are mine for example, They're very close to EOL.
