DAY 6

Today's mod was a set of cat delete pipes thanks to Mustang6g Member Need4Speed15 for hooking me with a good deal on this setup.

This did take me a few hours tonight, especially with limited tools since most of my tools are at work. I just finished so its to late to fire it up, but I'll report back on the sound tomorrow. Also as always I weighed the difference between the stock pipes, and these, and I saved another 11 pounds.

Car looks fantastic man. I am envious at the whole mod a day thing. I wish I could do that! Mine is more like a mod a week to two weeks, which soon will turn into a month lol Keep it going though, I love your build! BTW can you take a video of the sequencers? I really want those, I rigged my own sequencers on my 05 that did this when you brake and put the hazards on and loved them, but I am finding it hard to justify the $150 price tag for them. Maybe a video from you can help me make that decision :) Thanks man!

Man, I really need to come across a decent cat delete option.

DAY 7

Today's mod is Steeda's IRS subframe bushing support system.

It's still raining so I couldn't drive the car after the install, so no review again... Kinda defeats the purpose of me doing this mod a day thing, but still had fun working on my car this week, and will report back on how everything turned out as soon as the roads dry up.

I did get to fire it up this morning. Sounds sick! A bit more raspy, but I Always kinda liked a Little bit of rasp.

Install was pretty quick. Took about an hour.

These are the extra pieces that Steeda added to the kit and sent out to everyone that ordered at no additional charge. They even covered the Shipping.

Thanks!
I will definitely post a video of the sequencers, and of the new sound without the cats. Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow.

Yeah I didn't want to spend over a grand on headers right now, and really didn't want to cut up my driver side manifold, so this was perfect for me.

Finally got to drive it today and wow! This thing is loud!
The car definitely seems to be pulling harder with the new exhaust, and driveshaft. Could also be a placebo effect.

The IRS bushing inserts definitely do help with wheel hop. I Spun the tires in first a couple times today with no wheel hop at all. Other than that I can't tell they're there.

The Steeda trans mount insert is a tuff mod to review. To be 100% honest I can't tell any difference. With that being said, I do see how it should definitely help with high load, high rpm shifts.

Here's a quick video of the exhaust and Raxiom sequencers.
