After getting some great feedback here I've decided to go with the Ford Racing Track Strut and shock kit with Steeda minimum drop linear springs. My car is a 2017 Mustang GT Performance Pack. From everything I can find it's a substantial improvement over stock PP. Just thought I'd throw it out there for comments as I'll be ordering Friday. By the way I spoke with John at Steeda regarding my car and he was great. They'll install the springs on the struts for me prior to shipping which saves me a big hassle.

+1 on the excellent choice. Say goodbye and good riddance to the bouncy rear end and say hello to a much better controlled ride. Watch the many videos online from LMR and CJP on how to remove and replace. It's not too hard if you have a good set of tools and a decent torque wrench. After you're back on the ground, you will need an alignment and have them "clock the bushings". Very important last steps.
This info should help: Suspension Torque Numbers

Install tip: I had to remove my rear sway bar to lower the subframe enough to be able to get the springs out. The exhaust was preventing the IRS from lowering with the sway bar on. Another option is to lower the exhaust at the rear only (and support it). I didn't because I didn't want to deal with the active exhaust harnesses.

I want to tighten up the suspension. I already have Steeda subframe braces and vertical links. I might auto cross the car this year. Ride quality is secondary to me but I think the new additions will give me both.

Gotcha. If that is your goal, you won't go wrong with Steeda. However, if you want to get serious with autox, I would strongly consider something else like BMR. Did you see this thread?

One other thing to add. If you go into Autox with that setup, you will be in CAM. If you are just going for fun, then who cares. But CAM is the class where most dudes are out just to have fun, but there is always that 1 guy, or two guys, who take it next level and spend more on coil overs than I did on my first two vehicles combined. Just be prepared for that LOL.

But CAM is the class where most dudes are out just to have fun, but there is always that 1 guy, or two guys, who take it next level and spend more on coil overs than I did on my first two vehicles combined. Just be prepared for that LOL.
If the OP is new to autox, then they shouldn't worry about being competitive with the car. Come out and do a handful of events, then worry about what setup changes or hardware you might want. In the beginning its all about driving what you've got.

Putting wheels and tires aside, you probably only spend $4k replicating the entire suspension on my "2022 CAMC winning" car, and that includes ALL the suspension, bushings, sways, etc, etc. People did try to compete by spending more than that just on the coilovers, but I'm cheap and choosy.

Agreed. My statement for OP was more of a brace yourself for "that guy", because I know the first time I rolled up in CAM (I previously ran B Street), I saw Fletchers car and was like ahh hell, what did I just get myself into LOL...

Haha ya, I had the same feelings when I saw Grey Matter in it's current form.

Heck he had some of the local CAMS guys intimidated and they aren't even in the same class!
