I'm saving up for Whipple supercharger for my S550 w/pp. I plan on buying the kit from either AM or CJ and have authorized dealer install it. What is a fair price for installation? Also, did anyone get their Whipple SC installed near Los Angeles area? If so, can you provide me with their contact info? Thank you.

If it's not carb certified 99.9% of shops won't install it.
Roush is carb certified.

Your most likely going to have to buy the kit from the shop installing it.

Probably looking at around 10k installed.

I am in NorCal. I bought mine from TPS Motorsports which happens to be local. Including tax, was a smidge cheaper than AM. I then sourced a local Mustang expert and had him do the install. I am less than $10k into it.

The Whipple Stage 2 Gen3 is CARB certified as long as you use the Whipple tune.

Get a stage 2 and run the Whipple tune. Install is not hard at all.

I installed mine in a day. Its not hard and they have excellent instructions. BTW look at Team beefcake they had the best price when I got mine.

Ditto on team beefcake, he hooked me up. My install took 3 days....but still no biggie. I work slow.:shrug:

Install it yourself. It's not that hard. Use the money saved to buy some tools or a fuel system or headers. I have saved so much money doing things myself. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I always learn from them.

And one last tip. Don't try installing OPGs and crank sprocket with two people while drinking vodka. Lol.
