Glad you got it open. You have to remember, the heart of this car is a $20k rental car. Your $60k is going to the motor, tranny and suspension... little things like this are going to carry over from the base mustang.

Hell our (Mustangs) and my Focus SE have the same headlight switch as the Ford GT :shrug:

I just smile and laugh when I see the 25 miles to empty warning and look down at a full 1/4 tank of gas left. I say to myself, yes I have been driving her right!!!!! Then immediately start looking for a gas station!!!
