Sorry. The car has smooth glossy Wimbledon. So part would match better if it was smooth and glossy Wimbledon. Crinkle was a term for a uniformly rough surface. I think it comes from a type of paint with that name that dried like that even applied to a smooth surface.
Ok, so the rough texture of the plastic. I’ll talk to the restoration shop I’m taking it to. 👍

I don't see it in any parts diagrams I can find. But that engine bay looks very familiar to me.

Awesome job on the dress up man. Where did you get that voodoo plate with all the car details located in the middle of the strut?

Non-current pic (and a GT), but one of my favorite underhood bits are the radiator shroud extensions...

Prefer a raw functional mechanical look of the engine & components. Not a fan of the covers, so avoid adding the same.

Am considering blacking out some of that same area. Going to use black tape, to get a flavor of the results, a great way to test ideas.

I'm a fan of the functional look as well (and since that pic have GT500 valve covers, GT350 intake, and Mach 1 fuel rail covers) but the radiator extensions cover the areas that just looked too crude and unfinished to me. Can't have tools vanish into the abyss either. To each their own.
