Trunk won't open when pressing on the trunk latch

Since I got my GT350 I was always able to open trunk from the outside pressing on the trunk latch. After this Sunday I can't open the trunk from outside but can open from inside the car and when pressing on the key button twice. I searched this forum, internet and of course GT350 manual. But nothing related to this issue can found. I noticed during my ride last Sunday a loud beeping sound, maybe this sound is related to that the trunk blocked opening from the outside, IDK. Anybody know about this issue, if any. Prob something silly. My car is MY2019.

On my 17 you cannot use the trunk popper outside the car when the key fob is in the vehicle. I figure that is likely so someone can't open your trunk at a stoplight for example. Might not be your issue but thought I'd mention it.

That explains what happened to me. Was picking up a friend, and he couldn’t pop the trunk from the outside while I was inside the car with the key

Sweet, mystery solved. Now to try and figure out what the loud beeping sound is all about, haha!

Mystery solved. Just checked with the key out with me, the trunk latch works . However, the weird thing is that I was able to open trunk with the key inside the car. For example when I was washed car, I was able to open the trunk many times before since I purchased car in December 2019. Maybe that sound I heard is the car's ECU reprogrammed this feature?
