Just curious did you order the car or buy it off the lot ?
Off the showroom floor, but it was a CPO'd 2017 with 650 miles on it.

Saved me about 5k vs the 2018 I was looking at, same spec except color. Got it for 52.

That's good it would have been stupid to have ordered the car with the stripe and waist $450 peeling it off.

I was thinking of taking mines off today as well. I left it on because I really dig the stripes. I didn’t buy the car new so I won’t be out of $450 if I do decide to take it off down the road.

No stripes, stripe delete, no stripes from the factory, whatever you want to call it. My opinion it looks better without, but some colors look really good with stripes. Red not being one of them, IMHO. LB with no stripes FTMFW.

Agreed. Stripes look good on certain colors and don't look too great on others.

Race Red and Grabber Blue looks better without stripes.
Ruby Red looks great both ways.
Lightning Blue looks great both ways.
DIB looks better with stripes.

My $0.02 favorite list...

White--stripes are mandatory. Gotta have 'em
Any color of grey (magnetic, avalanche, etc)--must have blue stripes
Grabber blue & ruby red--no stripes
Every other color looks great either way

But this...THIS is THE best stripe I've seen done yet. I'd love to do this, but it won't work on every color, white being one of them...otherwise I'd be all over this.

These cars look naked without stripes - IMO
On certain colors, I'd agree. A black roof helps.

I really like AG and LFG without stripes.

The white with the blue stripes looks good.

It's a shame they aren't painted on though, and the quality of the stripes is poor. They don't hold up if you actually drive your car. I don't DD mine, but I've already put 2500 miles on it in three months. I know it's a matter of time before I get damage on one of the stripes and then they're coming off.

This is going to be unpopular... but if I ever get stripes painted on, I think I might do them in the factory placement with this color combo:

my av grey looks mean with the black stripes. i think that it would look too bland with no stripes on it. not a fan of the av grey and blue stripes.

not my car but same color combo
